Shelf Access
This document provides information on accessing Shelf.io (PROD and SandBox).
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Shelf.io is a knowledge management platform supporting documentation, resources, and collaboration for both client and internal teams.
PROD Instance (Maximus.Shelf):
The production instance is used by SBC organizations, including maximuscanada, maximuscanada-sbc-sdo, and maximuscanada-sbc-internalcc. It contains client-facing documentation that supports Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) during their calls. The CCaaS team does not use this instance directly.
Sandbox Instance (Shelf.Sandbox): The sandbox instance is used by the CCaaS, Knowledge Service and the Business Development teams for testing, training, and experimentation. It allows team members to safely trial new features, workflows, and documentation changes without impacting the production environment. Access is typically provided to admins, developers, and users involved in testing or onboarding.
Access Instructions
Section titled “Access Instructions”-
Navigate to

Log in using your organization credentials.

If you do not have access, contact your team lead or system administrator.
Accounts
Section titled “Accounts”Admin accounts should be used in both organizations.
Note: Shelf currently has a limitation that only one email account can be used with Shelf and can not be used in other Shelf Instances.
Work Around
Section titled “Work Around”Admin accounts in Maximus.Shelf should be the normal admin account. Admin accounts in Shelf.Sandbox should be an alais e.g. erikk.isfeld+maximus-sandbox@maximuscanada.ca
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- If you experience login issues, ensure your credentials are correct.
