Queue Archival

To archive a queue in Genesys Cloud:

  1. Archive related flows:
  • In Genesys Admin, locate all related Architect flows in DEV, BAT, and PROD.
  • Move each flow to the ARCH division.
  • Rename each flow by adding a z prefix.
    • Example: SBC_CGG_VOICE_EN_PROD -> zSBC_CGG_VOICE_EN_PROD
  1. Archive queues:
  • In Genesys Admin, locate the target queues in DEV, BAT, and PROD.
  • Move each queue to the ARCH division.
  • Rename each queue by adding a z prefix.
    • Example: SBC_CGG_VOICE_EN_PROD -> zSBC_CGG_VOICE_EN_PROD
  1. Archive associated VM queue (if applicable):
  • If the queue has a VM queue, move it to the ARCH division.
  • Rename the VM queue by adding a z prefix.
    • Example: SBC_CGG_VM_EN_PROD -> zSBC_CGG_VM_EN_PROD
